Rough Seas turned out so well that I went on and tried to make the sea even worse - and it worked!

snake: Through my paintings I can live a life that others have only dreamed of. I can put myself in the time of Lewis and Clark; on the run with Chief Joseph; or catch a fish larger than anything anyone has ever seen. I can observe a sudden snow storm and enjoy it’s beauty without being cold or miserable. The light reflecting off new fallen snow through a distant church window is beautiful, silent and comforting. Through my paintings I can do what I want, be where I wish and experience dreams that have no limits. And, I can give pleasure to others as they walk past one of my paintings hung, partially hidden, on some lonely art show wall. I paint because I love the freedom it affords me.
